Can a T5-2 and T7-2 be siblings in a 2 node RAC cluster running Solaris 11.3 ?

The situation is we have a 2 node 12cR1 RAC cluster on 2 x T5-2 servers. We need to establish a DR site. We have a 3rd T5-2 unused. We thus need to deploy a 2nd node on the DR site.

Prefer to buy a T7-2 for this purpose than a refurbished T5-2.

Is it supported ?

Has it been done ?
