Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Able to create SO for the Disabled item

Hi All,

Issue is as below :

1) Item is disabled .

2) when I create a Sales Order , application does not allows me to do so. ( I agree because the item is disabled).

BUT

3) When i create a sales order with the same absolute item but as a component as a BOM , I can create a sales order . ( How ?)

Can anyone please help .
