How to show legend for the gantt charts

I am confused why p6 EPPM cannot show legends for the gantt charts, as without the legends for the gantt charts the whole print or save to PDF is usless and it does not have provision to include directions or menus to define the color implication.

And is there any other option to include legends in the gantt charts or in reports to make this whole pdf thing a meaningful.
