archive log no been deleted by rman

i have set the rman retention policy to recovery window of 15 days. 

But i see that i have archive logs all the way back to September 2018.

I did crosschecks:

crosscheck backup of database;

Crosscheck archivelog all;

crosscheck backupset;

but when i do "delete obsolete", it does not list any of the old archive logs.

What do i need to do to remove the old archive logs?
