paid sick leave in mandated states
Hello! Looking for some information regarding state-mandated paid sick leave. We currently use the leave accrual process to maintain leave balances. If an employee moves from one mandated state to another, their "earned year to date" amount should start over for the new state. We would like to retain what they earned in a previous state, however. Does anyone have a suggested solution for how to initialize the earned year to date without losing the history? Is absence management a better tool for this kind of processing? Thanks!
