Rebate Threshold Approval

We are currently using JDEPRAPPR workflow in our price adjustments, and we found that the rebate threshold workflow ended in error. We have already tried searching the documentations, and in the community but we haven't found answers regarding it. Would like to know if there is an effect if the approval of the rebate threshold is still in pending status while the rebate adjustment was active?
