How Property Manager handles adjustment
Need your expertise on the following :
Say that we have equipment lease that start from Jan-19 to Dec-19, payment in advance and we're on November 2019 period.
The management decides to extend the lease to another year with lower implicit rate interest.
In this case, from my understanding, the system procedure would be :
- Create amendment on the lease
- Lease termination date is amended from Dec-19 to Dec-20
- Amend execution date. Can we have the amendment starts from Dec19 and what's the impact on the variable rate rental payment if we do floating rate adjustments. Will RoU gets recalculated ?
