Authentication with mail server

Hi Team,

Could please tell me if there any way to provide authentication with mail server and JDE, We need it for audit purpose.

As in current setup, I have mentioned our mail server IP in JDE server manger setup and using telnet comment to the server its connecting successfully and send emails. But is there anyway to provide authentication, like user id and password for this.
