"reserved by" error on CAFE1 connected app

I have a CAFE1 layout to show the Parts List (P17730) when the users open the Work Order Revisions (P17714). The Parts list window is showing the "Reserved By" error (showing reserved by me) based on the Work Order revisions application being open.  So whoever opens the layout will get that error in the Parts List window, it can't reconcile the fact that it's the same user and that the Reserved By error should not apply.  So if you opened the CAFE1 layout, it would show the parts list windwow, but it would also show that it is reserved by
