[DBT-10322] The Instance Name specified contains non alphanumeric characters.

I am creating a database in 18c using DBCA.

DBCA is now allowing to use underscore "-" in the database SID e.g. DB_AA is not allowed.

I can create a database SID with underscores when creating it using scripts.

Please advise if there is some restriction in DBCA that is preventing using underscore in SID and if there is a work around?
