Flash Cache in ODA x5-2 Virtual platform

we are running our Core system's database on ODA X5-2 HA Virtual platform ODA Base. Initially we had set SGA_MAX_TARGET to 18G , SGA_TARGET  to 16G and flash cache was set to 48G. base on the ADDM report indications, SGA parameters were recently increased.

Is Flash cache resizing is mandatory, when ever SGA resizing take place ? because i read somewhere in Oracle DOCs that flash cache should be set @ least 3 times bigger than the  SGA.

Please  advise.
