So how do YOU open an SR?

It's gotten to where I'd rather take a poke in the eye with a sharp stick than to open an SR.  I've got to be really, really desparate.  But perhaps that's the way Oracle Corp. wants it, so as to reduce the need for support staff.

My biggest issue is jumping through all the scripted questions just to get to the point where you can actually finalize and create the SR.  It starts innocently enough, with a question "Choose Problem Type"  But you have to choose from a pre-determined list of answers.  What if your problem isn't one of them?  Not even close enough to pick "the closest match".  And of course, whatever you pick, determines what question -- and pre-determined list of answers -- you have to answer next.  Repeat a few times.  Then, after essentially lying several times about the nature of the problem/question
