Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What is the best practice for determining how big a db_recovery_file_dest_size should be?

Is there a formula or standard that DBAs should go by to determine adequate space for the db_recovery_file_dest_size ?
