External AIP calls failing to JDE 9.2 AIS server

Hi Team,

I am trying to call an external api like google maps via JDE orchestrator usin ASI but its failing with the below error message as pop-up.

"Exception": "com.oracle.e1.aisclient.JDERestServiceException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 12"

AIS log has below.

23 Jan 2019 03:15:27,483[WARN][DCOMS5][AIS]ExternalRestService:callGeneric(): External Call Failed. java.lang.Exception: Hostname verification failed: HostnameVerifier=weblogic.security.utils.SSLWLSHostnameVerifier, hostname=maps.googleapis.com.

Found the following doc for the same: (Doc ID 2465079.1)

Issue is caused by Bug 28693289 - REST EXTERNAL CONNECTION END IN ERROR was entered to resolve the issue. It is fixed in 9.2.2.7.
