CDN YE ESU JM22354 - is a workfile reset required?

Year End Payroll

When installing the year end ESU for payroll (CDN in our case, JM22354), does the year end workfile need to be reset and started over?  

We seem to currently have an issue with JM22354, that we are not able to create manual T4 entries.   We're able to do so in our Production environment that doesn't have this latest ESU, but are concerned once we do install it, would we need to rebuild the workfile, if so, how do we get the manual T4s into the system.    We only have a few manual T4s, and as per the Oracle documentation, these T4s need to be added manually (EE on leave with pension adjustments).
