Creating a news banner on the home page 12.2.7

Hi

In 12.1.3 we had a monthly banner in the top left corner of the navigation page and we are unable to replicate this in 12.2.7. Soes anyone know how we can replace the word 'HOME' or the word 'NAVIGATOR' with our own text each month please?
