Hi all,

I have a consideration about using AFD.

I've tried to use AFD with 2 different ways of provisioning disks:

# asmcmd afd_label DATA /dev/sdc --init

# asmcmd afs_label ARC /dev/sdd1 --init

The 1 method is used with direct path of disk device. And the other is used with the path of a disk partition.

During the installation of GRID, both disk is provisioned.

Which method is better for AFD?
