Preventive Maintenance - Ignore Task Creation

Hello,

We have a requirement for not to create a task when we run the program - Preventive Maintenance Generate Service Requests and Tasks. We want only an SR to be created and assigned. How can we achieve this by not customizing? Any workarounds? any ideas?
