Business Event - EBS - cloud integration

Hi,

I would like to know more about business events.

What are the types of business events we have in EBS?

In our project we have a requirement to invoke a business even from a concurrent program which can send data to cloud from our staging table.

For this requirement what type i have to use and webservies are mandatory for this purpose or suing business events setup and plsql we can achieve this?

Please suggest.
