How to Creat a JDE sandbox for testing of JDE 9.2

Hi all.

I want to create sandbox of  fresh install of JDE 9.2 on one single windows server (both DS and ES respectively ).

I would like to know if this can be done, so that I can test out the upgrade process before attempting it on my current releases which is ( AR -9.0 and T.R- 9.1.3.1).

Has anyone done this before?

Please explain me in details and suggestion too.
