Is it possible to have Keyboard shortcut for text replacement in Siebel?

Hello,

Is it possible to implement Keyboard Shortcut for text replacement in text fields in Siebel? For example, if I type TDN in Notes field so upon saving record it should change automatically to 'Truck Down notification was sent on:'

If its possible, Is there any documentation to implement this functionality?
