EBS upgrade from 11.5.10.2 to 12.2.6

Customization path on 11.5.10.2:

prodapp@[/app01/prodappl/cux/11.5.0]> echo $CUX_TOP

/app01/prodappl/cux/11.5.0

prodapp@[/app01/prodappl/cux/11.5.0]>

Can i use the same path (/app01/prodappl/cux/11.5.0) on 12.2.6 ?

or i need to migrate the customization to 12.2.6 application path like as:

/app01/fs1/apps/appl/au/12.0.0

/app01/fs2/apps/appl/au/12.0.0
