Convergence unread message count updates

Can anyone tell me if Convergence is "supposed to" update unread counts on folders as new messages arrive?  I am still running 3.0.0.1.0, so maybe this is fixed/addressed in newer releases.  I could not find anything in the master note document.

I tried setting client.updateunreadcount=true and restarting, without success.

Is it a bug?  Or enhancement request?  To expect the unread count in the folders pane to be updated with each page refresh interval?  Does this work in the latest/current release?

Scenario:

In Convergence create folder called "Testing", and a filter/rule to "move" messages with a Subject that contains "test" to the Testing folder.
