R04601 - Duplicate payment report, search across multiple vendor addresses

Does the Suspected Duplicate Payment report, R04601, look for duplicate payments across multiple vendors if the vendors are linked with a parent child relationship?  We're trying to clean up our address book for vendors that have multiple addresses to further prevent duplicate payments but the effort will be in vain if the report doesn't look across multiple vendors.
