Hi to all,

i´m a newbie upgrading Oracle databases and i would like to know the best method of migrating from 11.2.0.2 RAC database  to 12c Release 2 RAC database. Our database is a 11.2.0.2 RAC database, with standby, using a BMC disk storage solution.

First we must upgrade to 11.2.0.3 to use a direct path upgrade, and then use one of the methods proposed in document "Upgrading and Migrating to Oracle Database 12c Release 2 (12.2.0.1)".

This upgrade will be done on same machines where the bd is now, using DBUA.

New 12c database must be placed in new machines, virtual machines, and using same storage solution.
