Platform MIgration of Oracle Ebuisness Suite R12.1.3 from Solaris to Linux OEL(7.5) Platform

Hi All,

We are planning to Migrate our Oracle E-buisness Suite Application from Solaris to OEL 7.5 Linux Platform Keeping the Oracle Database on Solaris Platform.

I just wanted to ask few of the queries related to that-

1. Is this fine to move only application tier not the database server. Will it cause some issue.

2. The platform Migration doc which is available in oracle Metalink note id is not opening for last few days. Is there any new note id as i cannot see in the oracle metalink.

3. I would like to check as part of migration we only take the appl_top & common_top from source to target instance whereas for the techstack do we need to reinstall the oracle home 10.1.2 & 10.1.3 to target instance and then reapply the patches to both home by comparing the patches list from source instance.
