Oracle PJM with Standard Costing

We are running R12.4 CMRO, WIP, BOM, INV, PO, PA, PJM etc. and the client would like to use standard costing for items being costed and burdened in Oracle Project Costing

that come through Project Manufacturing. We would need to have Project Cost Collection enabled but below documentation below says we would need to have this disabled to use standard and we need the cost collector to get the data into Projects.

"Note: When both Project Reference Enabled and Project Cost Collection Enabled are checked, only the Average costing method is supported. When Project Reference Enabled is checked but Project Cost Collection Enabled is not checked, both Average and Standard costing methods are supported.
