UDC 48/BC

Hello,

I am on a project where we are migrating data from 1 E1 system(9.2)  to another E1 system (9.2) due to a company acquisition.

I am comparing UDC's in 1 system against the other system

1 -  E1 system has a UDC (48/BC) that has NO codes/values in it, and the the other company has 3 values ( Billable, Hold, and Non-billable) in 48/BC

1) How can I tell if a UDC is JDE vanilla  or if it has been customized.?

      

2) How can i see/determine if the UDC is actually being used in any current processes?

3) Is there any JDE documentation I could read that tells me what this 48/BC is used for ?  ( I have looked but have found nothing on Oracle support site)
