Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Error in Fixed Assets - You cannot assign reserve to an asset placed in service in the current perio

Hi,

I am new to Fixed Assets.

When I try to create an asset and an assignment, I get the error "You cannot assign reserve to an asset placed in service in the current period".

What does this error message suggest?
