Oracle EBS Migration questions.

Dears,

Greetings,

I need some comments following EBS Migration.

Current Environment of Oracle EBS servers is Oracle EBS 12.1.3 on x86 Machines on Windows 64 bit.

Target plan is.

Migrate EBS Databases from Windows x86-64 bit to Exadata X7 machines on Linux or Solaris environment.

Migrate the Application nodes from current windows x86 machines to new visualized windows 64 bit in VMware on x86 machines with better CPU and Memory.

I have following few questions.

1. Is it possible to have EBS Apps nodes on windows 64bit platform and database nodes on linux/Solaris environment? Are there any incompatibilities? or it will work fine?
