ASC 606 - Flexibility (Feature) to enter Start Date at later point of time

Hi All,

Reference to ASC 606, would like to share the query as below and seek inputs from the experts:

1) Screenshot # 1 - AR Transaction -- Lines -- Rules

2) Screenshot # 2 - Receivables -- Setup --Transactions -- Accounting Rules

Problem Statement: Business will get clarity towards the Start Date at later point of time and not at the time of creation of AR Transaction, where as the start date gets grey out as soon as it is entered and saved.

Any pointers in this regard shall be of help.
