Tuning suggestions for advanced queues & migrating database off premise

edited Mar 14, 2019 3:10AM in Oracle SOA Suite (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

We are using SOA 12.2.1.2.0.

We have a scenario where a database is migrating off premise for remote hosting (and they are upgrading the database from Oracle 11.2.0.4 to 12.2.0.1).  This database has some advanced queues to which some of our composites subscribe.  Each of the adapters have their own outbound connection as well as their own data source.

This clearly is going to introduce potential connection drops and additional latency.  As it stands, we normally have kept default values on the data source configuration with the exception of checking the test connections on reserve.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where we might need to tune to properly support the additional latency and intermittent connection problems?

Howdy, Stranger!
