Maximum Concurrent Calls to AIS

Hello,

I had a support case open with Oracle for a suggested setting for Maximum Concurrent Calls to AIS (the default is 2), but I only received best practice articles that do not specify what this number ideally should be set at.

I was given these 2:

https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2256374.1

https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?id=2239069.1

We recently had performance issues when we enabled AIS in our Production Environment. I am on JD Edwards 9.2 tools release 9.2.2.4.

Doc ID 2339069.1 outlines this:

Regarding the parameter 'AIS Maximum Concurrent Calls' where the default is set to 2.  That parameter relates to the AIS calls made by UXOne JET components.  Since the pages render several charts at a time this parameter was added to allow control of how many AIS calls are processed at a time, because too many calls might bog down the JAS server (that AIS is pointing to).

Howdy, Stranger!
