Can I prevent users from refreshing Smart View worksheets while Consolidation is in progress?

Situation:

HFM calculated accounts clear out during the consolidation process. When a user refreshes an HFM Smart View while the consolidation is in progress, incorrect balances are returned and the balance sheet is out of balance.

Goal:

Prevent users from refreshing or warn them not to rely on the values returned during the refresh.

Ideas:

1. Lock out or kick users out of HFM when consolidation starts. The problem I see with kicking users out is they can log right back in again and still catch incomplete numbers.

2. Return a message to users when they click refresh when consolidation is in progress. E.g. "Financial statement consolidation is in progress. Please refresh again shortly.".
