Smart View and EPM Upgrade

Our current EPM version is 11.1.2.3.

Our current Smart View is 11.1.2.5.210.

We have an upgrade project lined up which will upgrade the the EPM to 11.1.2.4. However we don't intend to upgrade Smart View right now just to avoid multiple impacts.

So at the end of the upgrade we will have EPM 11.1.2.4 and Smart View 11.1.2.5.210

Has anyone done this in similar lines?

Also, I have the following concerns/ questions :

  1. Will there be any impacts in terms of compatibility : version upgrade (Oracle certification matrix says no, Smart View 11.1.2.5.210 is compatible with 11.1.2.x) ? Just wanted to double check on this.
  2. Will any Business user macros be impacted / needs to be re-written ? (Smart View version remain same)
