Long cell text not wrapping in Internet Explorer

We currently are experiencing an issue with Hyperion11.1.2.3.500.17 where text in a narrative field is not wrapping when displayed in Internet Explorer. Instead the text expands past the cell width, and it makes reading the information very difficult to read. Accessing the data through SmartView is a potential workaround, but it makes business processes more tedious. We've included a screen capture below. We are aware this issue is resolved in a later version of Hyperion, but updating is not an option. We see the information will display correctly in an older version of Firefox, but we'd prefer not to do an enterprise deployment of an out of
