Essbase client 11.1.2.3 and 11.1.2.4

Hello All,

Currently the Essbase client we have internal to the organization is 11.1.2.3 (ESSCMD.exe v11.1.2.3.505). EPM is also on 11.1.2.3 on Oracle platform.

Is it possible to upgrade the EPM version in the Oracle platform from 11.1.2.3 to 11.1.2.4 but keep Essbase client at same 11.1.2.3 version? Compatibility wise will this work?

Based on the certification matrix, I believe the answer is no. Is my understanding correct?

In that case we will need to upgrade the Essbase client to 11.1.2.4 on the internal servers.

Is it possible to install the 2 versions of the Essbase client in the same server (Essbase client 11.1.2.3 remains configured with EPM 11.1.2.3 and Essbase client 11.1.2.4 will be configured with EPM 11.1.2.4) ?
