web.show_document encoding

Hello,

I've a form which uses web.show_document to show a text file from server.

This text file is the result of executing a select in oracle database which could contain special characters like ñ, º,...

The problem is that these special characters aren't shown correctly.

If I open the text file with Notepad++ the special characters are shown correctly.

I've two servers configured:

Server 1 (F&R 11.1.2.1.0)

  • NLS_LANG=SPANISH_SPAIN.WE8MSWIN1252
  • Encoding of baseHTMLjpi (right click -> encoding in the browser): Unicode (UTF-8)
  • Encoding of text file using web.show_document encoding (right click -> encoding in the browser):

Howdy, Stranger!
