Difference between accounting methods called "Standard Accrual" & " Encumbrance Accrual"

Dear Team,

Could you please let us know the difference between accounting methods called "Standard Accrual" &  " Encumbrance Accrual" and signification of this while selecting at the time of ledger creation .

Please explain in detailed by giving an example/business scenario.
