Is there any existing business function which can be used to Update the carrier in Transportation mo

This should only be a carrier update and should not update the shipment charges?

In N4900390- Update Shipment Routing, it is updating the carrier as well as the charges.

But we need any business function which will do the functionality of routing without the rating part. i.e. it will only update carrier in the related tables like F4941.
