Demand Scheduling No CUMs

I have been going through the implementation manual for Demand Scheduling and have gotten as far as running R40R010.

I've received an error in the work center referencing CUM setup:

Subject : Error: CUM Record not Found

Cause.......... The CUM record was not found in the F40R12 table.

Resolution... Use the CUM Maintenance application (P40R12) to either locate or setup the appropriate CUM record.

What setup have I missed to tell Demand Scheduling that I will not be using CUMs? The P40R12 is looking for CUM information at the Item level.

In the Demand Rules P40R20, I left the CUM Adjustment Code for Shipments CUMADJS blank.
