Event based on Star item creation

Hi All,

We would like to call API for price list  once star item (ATO configuration Item ) is created in Sales order .

We would like to use business event oracle.apps.ego.item.postItemCreate for calling API

Kindly clarify regarding the Business event oracle.apps.ego.item.postItemCreate

will it get triggered in each of the sales order where star item is there or only once during initial order and when the star item is getting created for first time.
