Is it clear "the DACStore configuration" by using "WinDFT" HSGT tool ? and several questions.

Hi Experts !

Q1. What is best disk configuration clear for re-use the disk with spare part replacement ?

I would like to know what is different between the "clear the DACStore by clear 6140 controller config clear ops" and "erase the disk" on HSGT disk tool WinDFT.

My concern is the disk config & data clearance to re-use the disk on other 6140 array for part.

As I knew that

#1. clear the controller config. >>> Only controller and disk DACStore config clear. But it can be recognized the new disk on any 6140 controller.

      If there be logical bad block, it cannot be recovered.

#2. Clear the WinDFT which is provided by HSGT, the erase disk option can be clear the data on disk. and clear the MBR config with this tool.
