RMA attachments disappears after changing the Bill To

Hi All,

I am working on an RMA Issue where in when changing the "BILL TO " on header of RMA, the attachments details that has been entered under "Internal use only" disappears.

As a part of resolution i came across a " Note id  “ Manual Attachments and Notes Getting Deleted Automatically (Doc ID 1957045.1)” it’s a BUG and we need to apply patch Patch 14237166:R12.FND.B."

Now instead of applying a patch , do we have any workaround.
