Payment terms discount percentage form length limit is limiting precision - Is there a workaround?

R 12.2.5

I have a couple of payment terms with very precise percentage discounts of 20.486% and 9.295%.

There appears to be a length limit of 5 characters in place because I can't enter 20.486, it cuts off at 8. But 9.295 enters okay.

I also found that I can enter .1111 to get a precision of 4. Anyway, it seems to be a length limit and not a precision limit.

How do I work around this limit?
