Calculation Frequency & Interest Method

Hi,

I'm confused about which options to use in the new compliance options (Regime is only IFRS 16):

1. Calculation Frequency : Daily or Periodic

We have regular monthly periods. Oracle documentation (Doc ID 2432815.1) recommends using "Periodic" in this case. Can we use Daily (Just want to know)? what are the impacts of using either option?

2. Interest method : Simple or Compound

i read (Compound Interest Calculation Enhancement White Paper (Doc ID 2489580.1). It gives two examples (calculations) at the end (360 and 365). but it does not say for what combination: Daily or Periodic and whether its compound or simple.

I would like to have calculation examples to present to Finance for possible combinations:
