Smart View extention update message

Hi,

after installing the latest version of Oracle Smart View for Office (11.1.2.5.810 Build 149) I am getting the following warning message every time I open a Microsoft Office application, if there is another MS Office app already open:

Extension updates will not be applied due to more than one Office application being open.  Please close all Office applications, then reopen to apply updates.

I have already tried the following two solutions but none of them seems to work for me.
