Manufacturing without Costing

Hello All

We are currently working on a JDE 9,2 implementation. The customer has a very complex costing process for labour and overhead charges and they don't want to change to the JDE way of working. Was wondering if we can still implement manufacturing module without doing product costing in JDE. What are the necessary setups and accounting side impacts that we need to take care of. Any suggestions would help.
