Retaining links to forms created via HypOpenForm

I have managed to get the HypOpenForm(Empty, vtPath, vtForm, Dimlist, memlist) function (from smartview,bas) to open a HFM (and PBCS) form into a new spreadsheet.

When I save and close the Excel workbook, the link to HFM (and PBCS) is retained, and when I reopen all is well.

However, when I send the workbook via email, or save to a shared drive, and a different user opens the spreadsheet, the link to HFM (and PBCS ) is lost, and the Point of view bar disappears..

(in both cases the other user has the same private connection to the same underlying HFM application - the private connection has the same name..)
