Unable to delete a task in Workplan

Hi,

I have a User who is trying to delete a Task from Workplan in Self-Service but keeps getting the following error message -

'You cannot delete this task because progress has been collected for it'.

The task has no expenditure costed against it but the task was originally linked to a Capital Project, this link has now been removed.

Any ideas why this task can't be deleted?
